November

Lots of interesting things to see on site this last month with a great deal of the detail beginning to emerge from the raw construction. Both buildings are now at lock up and the groundworks and landscaping are well underway.

October

It has been a while since I last visited the construction and I was amazed at the progress that had taken place in the last 6 weeks. Walls are up, electrical and mechanical systems are being installed, the glazing is being fixed and ground works in Hallinan Park has started.

Roof is on the library

The structural steel work is now completed and the roof is now attached to the Library. You can now get a very good idea of the size and shape of both the library and community centre

June 13th

It has been a little while between updates so today we have a bumper edition. Considerable progress is being made on site with the erection of most of the structural steel taking place in the last few weeks. The structural steel is the skeleton of the building and you can really begin to see how the library will look when it is finished.
